DAWG
Deccan Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) is a volunteer group working to rescue, treat, sterilise and vaccinate street animals in and around the Deccan area, Pune. Since 2012, we have sterilised more than 4000 stray dogs, vaccinated 300 dogs regularly and found homes for hundreds of pups and kittens born on the streets. Our aim is to create safe neighborhoods by reducing the stray dog population while ensuring the remaining dogs are healthy and vaccinated.
